About / Aims Kingfisher Fostering
Kingfisher Fostering is a
small independent fostering agency based in East Anglia.
We provide long-term/permanent, emergency, respite,
bridging or short-term placements for children and
young people aged between 0 years and 16 years at
point of admission.
We recruit, train, assess, approve and support foster
carers who are able to offer a stable, nurturing environment
to children and young people who are Looked After
by Local Authorities.
In partnership with Local Authorities we match children
and young people to specific families, being mindful
of the child or young person’s development needs
and cultural background. We ensure that carers have
the capacity to meet care plan objectives and are
proactive in addressing health and education as well
as care needs for any child or young person placed.
