R & D (White British) - Have been fostering for over 10 years and successfully raised their own 3 children. They currently have 12 year old female in a permanent placement. She is very well established and settled within the family and has been with R & D for over five years. They also have a 14 year old male in permanent placement. He has settled in well and has been there for over 6 months. The family live in a comfortable six bedroom home with plenty of space both inside and out to play.
B & R (Black African) - Have been fostering for over 4 years and have lived in England for 25 years. B & R have their own 18 year old daughter who is pursuing her studies in Cambridge and have a 12 year old male in a permanent placement. He is very well established and settled within the family and has been with B & R for over four years. The family live in comfortable 4 bedroom detached house in a village near Ipswich.
S (White British) - Is newly approved and has 2 daughters; a 28 year old who now lives in Manchester and 7 year old who lives with her in Ipswich (East Anglia). The family live in a 3 bed terraced house with a garden and plenty of space to run around inside and out. They also have an allotment near by which they both enjoy. S has vast experience in managing challenging behaviour, negotiating, setting clear boundaries and maintaining consistency in raising a teenager. S's cousin is young adult with additional physical needs and she frequently assists with her day to day care.
